With craft vendors\, live music\, and some of the best BBQ around\, it's no wonder this festival has become a highlight of the year for locals and visitors alike! \n\n\n\nWhat to Expect\n\n\n\nThe Hogs and Hens BBQ Festival brings together 18 local BBQ vendors\, cooking up delicious ribs\, pulled pork\, and chicken\, all served right in downtown historic Abbeville. In addition to BBQ\, festival-goers can explore craft vendorsstationed at the Livery Stable and along Trinity Street\, browse local businesses\, and enjoy live entertainment on the main stage. \n\n\n\nThis festival is about more than just food—it’s about community. Each year\, the festival selects a beneficiary\, with proceeds going to local causes. Past beneficiaries have included groups like the Abbeville Community Performing Arts Board\, helping fund important initiatives in the area. \n\n\n\nFun for the Whole Family\n\n\n\nThis year’s festival brings even more excitement with the introduction of the Kids Zone on Saturday morning. Located on N. Main St.\, the Kids Zone will feature activities like balloon tennis and DIY crafts\, making it a great spot for families to start their day. \n\n\n\nIf you have a sweet tooth\, don’t miss the new Sweet Street\, featuring vendors specializing in desserts and sugary treats. Located on Washington Street\, Sweet Street will be open on Friday and Saturday\, offering a delicious way to cap off your festival experience. \n\n\n\nFestival Details\n\n\n\n\nDates:\n\nFriday\, 5 PM – 8 PM\n\n\n\nSaturday\, 10 AM – 8 PM\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation: Downtown Abbeville\, SC\n\n\n\nAdmission: Free to attend; vendors accept cash and cards\n\n\n\nWristband for Alcohol: Beer and wine are available for purchase inside the event area with a wristband.
