Saturday is the main barbecue tasting day\, with cook teams serving samples and SCBA awards announced during the event. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn addition\, you’ll be able to enjoy live music throughout the day\, and the SCBA will be presenting awards. \n\n\n\nHometown Heroes\n\n\n\nOne of the awards that is gaining popularity is the “Hometown Heroes” award. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocal teams representing first responders\, veterans\, education\, and healthcare compete for the prize. The winning team will receive cash prize\, a flag\, and bragging rights for the year. \n\n\n\nCost to Attend\n\n\n\nAdmission to the event is free\, but those who wish to sample the wings on Friday night or the barbecue on Saturday can purchase tickets. \n\n\n\nBeer and wine\, water\, soft drinks\, and food from local vendors will also be available for purchase.
