You are cordially invited to annual OMAR Bootleggers Backyard BBQ Brawl.
The event will be held at the Berkeley Shrine Club in Moncks Corner, SC. This year’s event will feature a “two meat” category, Boston butts and pork ribs.
The team receiving the highest number of total points in the butts and ribs events will be declared the Grand Champion and the second-place team will earn the title of Reserve Grand Champion.
Our grand champion will receive an invitation to compete in the Southern BBQ Network’s (SBN) “Team of the Year” competition.
The OMAR Hillbillies will sell food tickets to the public that will be used to purchase samples of the competitors’ entries.
Judging for the butts and ribs will be held on Saturday morning. Judges will be provided by the Southern BBQ Network (SBN) and judging will begin promptly at 9 am.
