I’m a barbecue man and love cooking and I have a few recipes books but this one is really an awesome book. The recipes and the history behind them were great. It’s a book that you don’t want to be without.

Pork & Piggin” Barbecue Cook-off (butts only) will be held at H. Cooper Black Jr. Recreation Area in Cheraw, South Carolina on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
Prize money and trophies will be awarded with judging by Certified South Carolina Barbecue Association judges.
Limited to the first 15 professional cooking teams and 12 backyard cooking teams.
Entry Fee: $250 per professional team/ $200 per backyard cooker team/ $50 ribs entryIncludes an approximate 30 x 30 spot with 20 amps of electricity. Additional amps are available for a fee.
