What Folks are Saying about Smokey V’s BBQ
In his Google Review, Local Guide Gerald Bailey Wyatt, Jr. enjoyed the atmosphere and the portion sizes. Here’s what he had to say:
My son and I visited Smokey V’s BBQ in Liberty today.
I want to start with the restaurant itself which use to be a carwash. The building is really nice with that authentic BBQ atmosphere and clean.
The owner spoke to me twice during my visit and wanted to make sure that everything was going well. In addition, the ladies that work there are nice.
First, the food: good portion sizes. I tasted the pulled pork, brisket, pork ribs, coleslaw, baked beans, sweet potato crunch, Brunswick stew, and all three sauces.
I did like that they sent out a slice of white bread with my meal. Frankly, I liked it all.
The only room for improvement is that the pulled pork and brisket would be better with a little more bark. I will eat there again and will recommend others eat there too.
Over on Facebook, April McCall wrote the following about Smokey V’s BBQ in her review:
OMG it’s so good!
The ribs are wonderful. Brunswick stew, sweet potato souffle, green beans, macaroni cheese, barbecue sandwiches are filled with BBQ lots of different sauces to choose from.
The owners and the people that work there are so friendly, y’all need to try it out soon.
