Abbeville is where you want to be during the third weekend in October.
Since its kickoff in 2013, the Hogs and Hens BBQ Festival has drawn thousands to our charming town! The Festival features Craft Vendors, Live Music, and some of the best BBQ this side of the Mississippi!
As a part of the Southern BBQ Network, Hogs & Hens chooses one beneficiary each year, with this year’s being the newly formed Abbeville Community Performing Arts Board (ACPA).
During Hogs & Hens, the ACPA board will be accepting donations, providing information, and getting the community excited about the arts! Look for their tent next to the information tent in front of the Opera House.
Come join us for the annual Hogs and Hens BBQ Festival in beautiful downtown historic Abbeville. Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.
Enjoy live entertainment, handcraft vendors, and 18 local barbeque vendors cooking ribs, pulled pork, and chicken.
BBQ vendors will be on the square and craft vendors will be in the livery stable and on Trinity Street.
Last year we had 2000 people participate in the two-day event, come join the fun and enjoy great BBQ.
