Smoke on the Waccamaw is a BBQ competition that is a part of the City of Conway’s Fall Festival.
The event is being put on by the Shrine Club of Conway with proceeds to the Shriners organization that supports Children's Hospitals throughout the United States.
Friday’s event starts at 6 p.m. with live music and a soup cookout. Tasting tickets are $2 each and you can vote for your favorite BBQ. Saturday, the festivities start at 9 a.m. with BBQ tasting.
Awards for the barbecue competition will be announced at approximately 2:00 PM.
