Smoke on the Waccamaw is an SBN-Sanctioned BBQ Competition that is a part of the City of Conway’s Fall Festival.
The event is being put on by the Shrine Club of Conway with proceeds to the Shriners organization that supports Children’s Hospitals throughout the United States.
Friday’s event starts at 6 p.m. with live music and a beer garden. Tasting tickets are $1 each and you can vote for your favorite BBQ. Saturday, the festivities start at 10 a.m. with more BBQ tasting and a Car Show.
The kids will have their own carnival, Saturday starting at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 7 Elm Street in Conway.
Awards for the barbecue competition will be announced from the Main Stage at the Shriners Club at approximately 2:00 PM.
