The Battle of Camden BBQ Festival, a barbeque contest to benefit the Camden Jaycees’ Annual Stocking Fund, will take place at 222 Broad Street in Historic Camden, South Carolina.
The event will include a Chicken Wing Competition on Friday Night, barbeque from some of the finest BBQ Competitors in the Southeast on Saturday, delicious food and drink from local vendors, and live music on both days.
There will also be a Mac ‘N’ Cheese competition featuring local restaurants and vendors with the winner decided by the general public and carrying home the Golden Noodle trophy!
BBQ tastings will be served hot off the smokers Saturday morning. The event will feature live music on both days, children’s activities, and tasty beverages!

This will be a family-friendly event both adults and kids will enjoy.

Cost to Attend
The event is FREE to the public but if you want to try some samples you will need to purchase sample tickets:
$1 per sampling ticket or 12 tickets for $10.
The money raised will go back into this community to help those in need.
“Camden Jaycee is a non-profit organization that raises money at the festival to buy toys and food for disadvantaged families in Lugoff, Camden, Kershaw County, and those areas,” says Wilson.
This is a Battle with a Purpose:
The festival is hosted by the Camden Jaycees, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of the most disadvantaged citizens in Kershaw County by providing meals and toys to families during the Christmas season.
After previous events, the Camden Jaycees delivered toys and clothes to over 270 children and food to 198 families.
