Back Home BBQ

Back Home BBQ is an old-style country buffet, featuring all of the country fixin’s, BBQ, and seafood favorites.

Pattie Gordon, with 30 years of restaurant experience, opened Back Home BBQ. She worked Prosser’s and Inlet Bar B Que, the two restaurants that preceded Back Home BBQ, for a total of 13 years.

Finally, the opportunity came for Gordon to become a business owner. In 2022, she purchased the restaurant from the owners of the short-lived Inlet Bar B Que.

A Murrells Inlet native with a passion for serving people with a smile, Gordon promises a complete experience, not just a meal. Family-owned and operated, Back Home BBQ has set out to create its own enduring legacy.

Offering vinegar-based pulled pork made from butts and shoulders, barbecue is not the only thing on the menu. Fried chicken, fried pork chops, barbecued ribs, shrimp, flounder, and barbecued chicken are regulars on the menu.

In addition, Back Home BBQ serves fried oysters on the buffet on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 4 to 8pm!

And you can’t go wrong with the breakfast buffet from 7:30 to 10:30 Thursday to Sunday.
