Barbecue and a Hometown Parade

Eastover’s annual BBQ Festival & Parade gives visitors a reason to spend Saturday in town. The parade brings floats, antique cars, motorcycles, horses, and community groups through the streets before the celebration continues at 624 Main Street.

After the parade, visitors can find something to eat, browse vendor booths, and enjoy live performances. Barbecue is part of the draw, alongside food trucks and other vendors offering plenty to explore throughout the afternoon.

Admission to Saturday’s festival is free. Families can enjoy the parade together, then head over to the kids zone or spend some time listening to the music.

Friday Night’s Jam Fest

The celebration also includes Eastover Jam Fest, a separately ticketed Friday evening concert at Eastover Park. Southern Soul and R&B have been central to the event, which brings an evening of live music ahead of Saturday’s barbecue festival.

Jam Fest began as a fundraiser to help support the town’s longstanding BBQ Festival & Parade. Although the two events share a weekend, they have different admission arrangements and locations. Friday’s concert takes place at Eastover Park, while Saturday’s festival centers on 624 Main Street.

Saturday is the day for visitors coming for the BBQ Festival & Parade. Arriving before the parade gives attendees time to find a place along the route before heading to the festival grounds for food, music, and activities.
