Tucked into the foothills of the Upstate, Little Pigs BBQ in Easley has been a fixture of the local food scene for decades. Like its sister location in Seneca, this independently owned restaurant is part of the wider Little Pigs BBQ family—a name that has stood for slow-smoked meats and Southern comfort since the early 1960s.

Veteran and South Carolina native Ron Miller has owned and operated the Easley location since 1991. Under his guidance, Little Pigs BBQ has not only maintained the quality and charm that made the name famous, but also evolved with the times. The result is a restaurant that blends tradition with thoughtful updates, drawing a loyal following from both longtime residents and newcomers to the area.

A Smokehouse That Sticks to Its Roots

Everything that comes out of the kitchen at Little Pigs Easley is made with care and cooked fresh daily on site. Meats are never frozen, and the pit crew puts in the time to ensure that each rack of ribs, each pulled pork sandwich, and every batch of smoked chicken hits the mark.

The ribs, pork, and chicken are smoked low and slow, with a focus on texture, moisture, and that signature bark. The team has also expanded the menu over the years to include newer crowd favorites like smoked wings and hand-breaded chicken tenders—without compromising the quality that built their reputation.

Homestyle Sides and Southern Staples

No plate at Little Pigs is complete without a helping (or two) of their made-from-scratch sides. From macaroni & cheese and green beans to Brunswick stew and sweet potato crunch, the side dishes are as much a draw as the meat. They even offer baked beans, slaw, and casseroles that often end up as the talk of the table.

For those looking to mix it up, you’ll also find items like fresh garden salads and kid-friendly meals, making this a family-friendly stop as well as a destination for serious BBQ fans.

A Community Table

The restaurant has earned its place as a local go-to, and with its consistent quality and community-minded approach, it’s easy to see why.

What Folks Are Saying

Google Review

Among the many Google Reviews, Local Guide “Joseph” stopped in for a quick bite and left stuffed:

I went in to get a sandwich to go, but I ended up eating there. Jumbo pulled pork sandwich, onion rings and sweet potato crunch. They were all delicious. They have this white sauce, man it’s great with the onion rings.

The sandwich was so big, I couldn’t eat the whole thing. Josh was the best. He was great, he made sure I had everything I needed. Great food and service.

Yelp Review

Over on Yelp, Easley native Sandra B has enjoyed Little Pigs for decades:

We love Little Pigs and have been eating here for well over 20 years. Their chopped pork and Brunswick stew is wonderful. They are very generous with portion size so much so we get one plate plus a side of stew and it is enough for our meal plus leftovers to take to work for lunch. Love this place.

TOOK A LOT OF HARD WORK

What I liked most about the cookbook was the bbq sauces – this took a lot of hard work. It’s worth the money. Buy the cookbook, you won’t find one any better. I have tried a couple of the sauces – they were real good!
