You'll find London's Country Cooking and BBQ in Clinton, SC, in the old Hickory Hills location at 257 Torrington Rd.

You'll find Lisa Garrett at the cash register and Rodney Atkins handling the food. The restaurant is named for grandbaby London.
At the time of this writing, they offer a buffet which costs $9.99 for lunch (11 a.m.-4 p.m.) and $12.99 (4-8 p.m.) for supper. The evening meal offers more items on the buffet with lunch being more country cooking and supper favoring the items typically found in SC BBQ joints.
In addition to their pork BBQ, London's offers things like ribs and hash during the evening meal. At lunch, fried or baked chicken, chopped pork, and fried fish with lots of great vegetables to choose from.
They are open 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday.

Buffet, Cards and Cash, Hash, Heavy Tomato Sauce, Mustard Sauce
This Tar Heel envies his Sandlapper neighbors. This is a magnificent tribute to y'all's barbecue tradition. I wish there were an equivalent book about ours. Of course, you don't have to be a South Carolinian to read and cook some of the fabulous recipes here. My compliments to the chef. It's worth every penny.
