If you’re traveling down Interstate 95 and are looking for BBQ, take Exit 164 and head toward Darlington. Nick’s BBQ House will be about 6.5 miles ahead. A short trip for some good eats.

Classic BBQ which I deem spot on, but also plenty of other fare.
A couple of my kids got the chicken fingers and they were huge and piping hot. Saw lots of burgers and the “chicken bog” go by and it all looked good.
The fried okra looked scratch-made, rather than frozen, but I can’t verify that.
I can testify to the squash casserole, however! 100% legit southern peppery cheesy goodness!
Bottom line, stop in. The barbecue alone justifies the trip but the rest justifies going back again and again.

I stopped by & went inside. I went to the counter & ordered by BBQ sandwich & hot dog, both with slaw.
Got my sweet tea & grabbed a seat. They brought me my order, and it was fantastic.
I saw all types of folks inside, a family, a guy with a suit, a single lady, & some firemen. The food was great, the prices were great, & the place was CLEAN…
