Slabs Wood-Fired BBQ Restaurant serves mouth-watering smoked beef brisket, ribs, and pork, all cooked low and slow. Can’t you just smell it now?
Their smokehouse focuses first and foremost on quality smoked meats cooked with a special rub only available at Slabs.
On the Menu
Slabs specializes in “smoked-up all-night-long beef brisket.” Their smoked beef brisket has that special rub recipe that makes it so tender and juicy with the widest smoke ring you’ve ever seen.

It’s the best this side of Texas. And it’s all cooked Texas-style low and slow on wood. No gas or electric used here.
Not to be overlooked, the wood-smoked pulled pork at Slabs falls apart with no shredding or chopping needed.
They only put rub on the meats, letting the smoked flavor stand out.
Slabs actually opened in August 2020. They started with two years of taste testings to refine the best recipes to include on the Slabs menu for melt in your mouth goodness.
The Fenters have meticulously crafted a menu that pays homage to traditional barbecue methods, while also offering a welcoming array of options for all dietary preferences.
Signature Smoked Meats: At the core of Slabs BBQ’s menu are the classic barbecue staples: tender, pulled pork BBQ, succulent pork ribs, and juicy brisket, each smoked over wood fires to perfection.
“Our bbq pork is so tender it falls apart, no need to chop,” share the Fenters, emphasizing the care and patience that go into every dish. Additionally, unique offerings like smoked beef and jalapeno cheddar cheese sausages showcase the depth of their culinary creativity.
Sauce Selections: Complementing these smoked delights are their carefully crafted sauces. From the tangy vinegar-pepper sauce that contains no tomato, to the hickory smoked sweet sauce, and a zesty hot bbq sauce, there’s a flavor profile to satisfy every palate.
Veg-Friendly Options: Understanding the diverse dietary needs of their guests, Slabs BBQ also boasts a selection of vegan-friendly dishes. Fresh shredded coleslaw, green beans without meat, and both baked potato and a special baked potato salad (free from eggs and onions) ensure that even those following a meat/dairy/egg-free diet can enjoy a satisfying meal.

Among the many Google Reviews, Jessica Kast made it clear she’s never had better BBQ or a better time:
Slabs serves the absolute best BBQ I’ve ever eaten, and the staff is remarkably friendly. As far as cost goes, it’s very inexpensive.
The Bo Jr has brisket, half a rack of ribs, half a pound of pulled pork, sausage, and one side for $29.99.

If you went there for nothing other than a glass of water you would have left having nothing less than an extraordinary time. My first visit was tonight and let me tell you I already feel like a regular!
What more could you want from a restaurant that makes you feel like your having a family dinner and Mom and Dad just took the BBQ off!
I promise you will not regret it! They smoke everything for 16 plus hours! Support local buy local!
TripAdvisor Review
Over on TripAdvisor, review Darrylleebridges simply didn’t have enough room for dessert:
“The Bo” at Slabs is a great variety of wood-smoked goodness!
The dry rub allows the flavor of the meats to come through. Unlike most other places, the meats aren’t swimming in sauce.

The beans, slaw, and baked potato salad were all wonderful. Would love to comment on the desserts, but they are in the fridge for later – we are too full for now!
The owners of Slabs are friendly and engaging. I drove about 40 minutes for carryout, and it was well worth it!
The Bo (pulled pork, brisket, sausage, and ribs) will feed us for two-three meals, so we’ll enjoy more tomorrow!

What Folks Say about
I LIKE IT ALL….
…but if I have to choose what I like most, then let’s say the recipes. Love to read all the recipes and take note of the different ingredients, but can’t beat Rodney Scotts’ vinegar and pepper mop sauce! Buy it. I did, and I am going to use it. I love all things BBQ.
